INTRODUCTION
After teaching and serving as the Coordinator of Voice Studies at Columbia College Chicago for almost forty years, Ms. Wilsyn was awarded both an emerita professorship and honorary Doctor of Arts degree. Now retired from academia, she is returning to performing, recording, coaching and presenting motivational keynotes.
This re-design of her career endeavors is the encore to an already well-established connection to music, the performing arts, and new thought philosophy.

BOBBI WILSYN has gained national and international recognition as the featured jazz-blues vocalist with the Chicago Jazz Ensemble, Chicago Jazz Philharmonic, Chicago Jazz Orchestra, The Italian Jazz Band, Symphonic Jazz International under the direction of notable conductors, Jon Faddis , Dick Dunscomb, and the late William Russo. Singing the repertory that inspired her as a child, she has performed on nightclub and concert stages and at jazz festivals from Vegas to Verona. Her musical theatre performances include Sophisticated Ladies, Beehive, and It Ain't Nothin' But the Blues.

Ms. Wilsyn brings years in the classroom as an educator and Vocal Coordinator of Music at the premier arts and media institution, Columbia College Chicago, to her private studio. Coaching sessions for intermediate and professional vocalists, speakers, and presenters include lessons in voice technique, performance, projection, style and stage presence. Whether beginner or pro, clients learn to develop good, healthy ways of using the voice.
